Ford India recalls 16,444 units of compact SUV EcoSport

Ford India has recalled over 16,000 units of the Eco Sport SUV to inspect a potential problem with the suspension that may lead to an accident.

"In some of the affected vehicles, there is a possibility that the Rear Twist Beam (RTB) bolt may not be tightened to specification, which may cause the pivot bolt to break. This condition can potentially compromise vehicle handling and thereby increase the risk of an accident," Ford said, calling the measure as a "proactive voluntary action".

It added that no accidents related to the concern have been reported as yet Indian stock market astrology prediction
