Volvo to export buses made in India to Europe

Swedish commercial vehicle major Volvo is exporting buses manufactured in India to Europe. The made-in-India buses will be unveiled in Europe later this year, giving a fillip to the government's ambitious Make in India initiative Indian stock market astrology prediction

These buses would give Volvo an entry into the inter-city bus segment in Europe competing against rivals like Daimler. Currently, inter-city coaches and city buses from the Indian facility are being exported to countries in South Asia and South Africa. Volvo's India facility in Hoskote has a complete bus manufacturing unit that includes chassis in-house, full-fledged proto shop for development of new products and technologies and a skill development centre to impart training to personnel. 

Volvo Buses president Hakan Agnevall said exporting buses from India is fairly cost competitive. "This was a driving thought in starting the Asia leverage programme to utilise the efficient engineering and manufacturing expertise in India to meet demands of other global markets," he said Astrological Prediction For Indian Stock Markets
